Every Legend
Earns Its Scars.
No helicopter carries more history than the Bell UH-1 Huey — and no Huey should look like it just left the showroom. The F07 Weathered Edition is hand-finished to capture a Huey deep into its tour: faded olive drab, exhaust staining, worn skids, and grime in every panel line. Underneath, a fully modern flybarless 6CH flyer with optical flow positioning.
Where the Wear Lives
Every mark on this airframe is placed where a working Huey actually earns it. The Stirlingkit finishing studio applies a multi-step distressing treatment referenced from in-service UH-1s:
Turbine Exhaust Staining
Soot and heat discoloration trailing from the exhaust — the unmistakable signature of a hard-working turboshaft.
Sun-Faded Olive Drab
Bleached, uneven panels across the upper fuselage and tail boom — years of tropical sun and monsoon rain, panel by panel.
Worn Skids & Door Rails
Scuffed landing skids and chipped paint along the cabin door tracks — the wear of a thousand landings and countless boots on the rail.
Panel-Line Grime
Accumulated grime tracing the panel lines, rotor mast, and belly — settled exactly where a crew chief would find it on inspection day.
Choose Your Finish
Battle-Worn Edition
Hand-weathered to end-of-tour condition. Slight variations between units mean no two weather exactly alike — yours is one of a kind.
- Multi-step hand-applied weathering
- Display-grade scale realism
- Each unit uniquely finished
Original Factory Edition
Clean, uniform olive drab — the Huey as it rolls off the line. For pilots who like a showroom look.
- Uniform factory finish
- Identical unit to unit
Under the Weathering: A Thoroughly Modern Flyer
Iconic UH-1 Huey Detailing
Faithfully modeled at 1/34 scale with scale lighting effects and the unmistakable Huey silhouette. The weathered finish brings it all to life — this is the Huey as history remembers it, not as a factory delivers it.
Flybarless Precision & Electronic Stabilization
A flybarless rotor head with dual-axis driven motor system and electronic stabilization delivers precise, locked-in control. The optimized structure reduces crash damage risk — confidence for newer pilots, precision for experienced ones.
Optical Flow Positioning & Altitude Hold
High-precision optical flow positioning and barometric altitude hold let the F07 park itself in a stable hover, indoors or out. Combined with the 6-axis gyro, it holds position with pinpoint accuracy — and one-key inverted flight makes learning aerobatics as easy as normal flying.
Brushless Power That Handles Real Wind
A 2511 1200KV brushless main motor and dedicated 1204 5500KV brushless tail motor deliver low noise, high torque, and rock-solid tail lock. With 4.3g metal-gear digital servos providing fast, precise centering, the F07 flies confidently in outdoor winds up to level 4–5.
Durable Nylon–Carbon Fiber Blades
Aerodynamically designed blades in high-strength nylon and carbon fiber composite resist impacts and keep flying — the only battle damage on this Huey should be the painted-on kind.
Smart Battery, Type-C Convenience
The 7.4V 1200mAh 25C smart LiPo delivers 10–12 minutes of flight and 500+ charge cycles, with built-in overcharge, over-discharge, and low-voltage protection. Recharges in about 60 minutes via Type-C. Ready to fly out of the box.

About the Weathered Finish
All wear effects — fading, chipping, staining, grime — are intentionally hand-applied by the Stirlingkit studio as part of the Battle-Worn Edition design. They are not defects.
Because the weathering is applied by hand, each unit varies slightly from the photos and from every other unit. That's exactly the point — no two Hueys came home from their tours looking the same. Prefer a showroom look? The F07 is also available in the Original Factory finish.
FAQ
Very close, but not identical. The weathering pattern — where chips, streaks, and fading fall — varies slightly unit to unit because it's hand-applied. The overall effect and intensity match the photos.
The aircraft itself is a genuine YU XIANG F07 — same airframe, motors, and electronics as the standard release, with full manufacturer quality standards.
The weathering is where we come in: every Battle-Worn Edition is hand-finished by the Stirlingkit studio. Our team applies the multi-step distressing treatment — fading, staining, chipping, grime — referenced from photos of in-service UH-1s. This finish is exclusive to Stirlingkit; you won't find it on the standard YU XIANG release.
And to be clear: the studio finish does not affect your coverage. Every Battle-Worn Edition is backed by the same full Stirlingkit after-sales support and warranty as our standard products.
No. The weathering is a surface finish only. The airframe, motors, electronics, optical flow sensor, and blades are identical to the standard F07 — same stability, same positioning accuracy, same 10–12 minute flight time.
No. The optical flow sensor window and all functional openings are masked during the finishing process and remain completely clear. Positioning and altitude hold work exactly as designed.
Mode 2 (throttle on the left stick) is the standard in North America and most of Europe — if you're unsure, choose Mode 2. Mode 1 (throttle on the right stick) is common in parts of Asia and Australia. Pick the mode matching your existing muscle memory or regional convention.
The finish is sealed and rated for normal flying and handling. Like any painted RC model, avoid harsh solvents when cleaning — wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth.
Yes — arguably more so than most scale helicopters. The 6-axis gyro, optical flow positioning, and altitude hold let the F07 hold a stable hover on its own, and one-key inverted flight lowers the barrier to aerobatics. Recommended for ages 16 and up.
The fully assembled Weathered Edition F07, 2.4G 6CH transmitter (Mode 1 or Mode 2 per your selection), 7.4V 1200mAh smart LiPo battery, USB Type-C charger, and user manual. Ready to fly — just charge and go.
