The Sea
Leaves Its Mark.
Nothing weathers an aircraft like carrier duty. The F09-H Weathered Edition is hand-finished to capture an SH-60 Seahawk deep into deployment — salt-streaked haze grey, mismatched corrosion-control patches, exhaust staining, and deck grime. Underneath, the most advanced flyer in the fleet: GPS flight control, 8-channel telemetry radio, and 5.8G video downlink.
Where the Wear Lives
Naval aircraft weather differently — salt, sun, and constant corrosion control leave a signature all their own. The Stirlingkit finishing studio applies a multi-step distressing treatment referenced from fleet SH-60s:
Salt Streaks & Sea-Air Fading
Vertical salt streaking down the fuselage sides and sun-bleached, uneven haze grey — the fingerprint of open-ocean operations.
Corrosion-Control Patchwork
Mismatched grey touch-up panels scattered across the airframe — real fleet Seahawks are famous for their patchy paint, the result of endless shipboard corrosion maintenance. Ours wear it proudly.
Exhaust & Rotor Staining
Soot trailing aft of the engine exhausts and oil streaks around the rotor mast — hundreds of hours of turbine time, written on the skin.
Deck-Ops Grime
Accumulated grime along panel lines, landing gear, and belly — tie-downs, chains, and non-skid deck coating leave their trace on every bird in the fleet.

Under the Weathering: The Flagship of the Fleet
Full Mission Loadout
Modeled at 1/47 scale on the SH-60 Seahawk with weapon pylons carrying rocket launchers and missiles, an on-board Gatling gun, and aerial refueling probe. Movable left and right side doors, shock-absorbing landing gear, scale lighting, and a high-efficiency four-blade tail rotor complete the picture — quieter, more efficient, and more realistic.
GPS Intelligent Flight Control
GPS, compass, downward vision, and barometric altitude-hold modules work together for locked-in position hold outdoors and in. Safety functions include one-key return-to-home, low-battery auto return, loss-of-signal return, one-key landing, and an electronic fence — plus one-key figure-eight and circular flight patterns for effortless scale flying.
8-Channel Telemetry Radio
The 8CH 2.4GHz radio uses a bidirectional communication protocol with 1024-level stick resolution and an LED display feeding back real-time battery level, speed, altitude, distance, heading, and GPS status. You always know exactly what your aircraft is doing.
5.8G Video Downlink
On-board 5.8G analog video transmission streams the Seahawk's-eye view up to 300 meters — line up your approaches and enjoy the view from the cockpit.
Brushless Power & Precision Servos
A 4006 630KV brushless main motor and dedicated 1104 5200KV brushless tail motor deliver low noise, high torque, and rock-solid tail lock, with magnets rated to 150°C. Enlarged 4.3g metal-gear digital servos respond at 60°/0.05ms for precise, locked-in handling.
Built to Take a Hit
High-precision CNC rotor head and swashplate cut weight and crash risk; the hot-runner molded fuselage stays detailed yet resilient. Nylon–carbon fiber composite blades resist impacts and deformation — the only battle damage on this Seahawk should be the painted-on kind.
Smart Battery & Aluminum Field Case
The 3S 11.1V 1350mAh 30C smart LiPo delivers 9–12 minutes of flight and 500+ cycles, with overcharge, over-discharge, and low-voltage protection. A dedicated charging stand and high-precision digital balance charger are included — and the whole kit ships in an anti-collision aluminum case worthy of a fleet aircraft.

About the Weathered Finish
All wear effects — salt streaking, fading, corrosion patches, staining, grime — are intentionally hand-applied by the Stirlingkit studio as part of the Battle-Worn Edition design. They are not defects.
Because the weathering is applied by hand, each unit varies slightly from the photos and from every other unit. That's exactly the point — no two fleet Seahawks wear the sea the same way. Prefer a showroom look? The F09-H is also available in the Original Factory finish.
FAQ
Very close, but not identical. The weathering pattern — where salt streaks, patches, and staining fall — varies slightly unit to unit because it's hand-applied. The overall effect and intensity match the photos.
The aircraft itself is a genuine YU XIANG YXZNRC F09-H — same airframe, motors, electronics, and GPS system as the standard release, with full manufacturer quality standards.
The weathering is where we come in: every Battle-Worn Edition is hand-finished by the Stirlingkit studio. Our team applies the multi-step naval distressing treatment — salt streaking, corrosion patches, fading, staining — referenced from photos of fleet SH-60s. This finish is exclusive to Stirlingkit; you won't find it on the standard YU XIANG release.
And to be clear: the studio finish does not affect your coverage. Every Battle-Worn Edition is backed by the same full Stirlingkit after-sales support and warranty as our standard products.
No. The downward vision sensor window, camera lens, GPS antenna area, and all functional openings are masked during the finishing process and remain completely clear. Positioning, return-to-home, and the 5.8G video feed work exactly as designed.
No. The weathering is a surface finish only. The airframe, motors, electronics, and blades are identical to the standard F09-H — same stability, same GPS accuracy, same 9–12 minute flight time.
Yes. The rocket launchers, missiles, Gatling gun, and refueling probe receive the same treatment as the airframe, so the full loadout reads as one aircraft that's seen real service — not clean accessories bolted to a weathered fuselage.
The finish is sealed and rated for normal flying and handling. Like any painted RC model, avoid harsh solvents when cleaning — wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth.
Yes — the F09-H is the most beginner-forgiving model in the F09 family. GPS position hold, altitude hold, one-key return, one-key landing, and the electronic fence act as a full safety net while you learn. Recommended for ages 16 and up.
The fully assembled Weathered Edition F09-H with complete weapons loadout, 2.4G 8CH telemetry radio, 3S 11.1V 1350mAh smart LiPo battery, charging stand, digital balance charger, and user manual — all packed in the anti-collision aluminum case. Ready to fly: charge, acquire GPS, go.
