Most beginners get stuck before their first flight. This guide gets you past that—fast, clean, and frustration-free.

🚀 Quick Start (What Most People Do)

1. Install Battery

Use a 2S 7.4V lithium battery. Insert, close, done.

2. Charge

Plug in via USB-C. No extra charger needed.

3. Power On

Hold the button. You’ll enter EdgeTX.

4. Bind

Power receiver 3× → open ELRS → tap Bind.

5. Fly

Pick your model, keep defaults, and go.

That’s it. Most users are ready in under 5 minutes.

🔧 Detailed Setup (If You Want It Done Right)

Battery Compatibility (Important)

• Supported: 18650 / 21700 / 2S LiPo (7.4V)
• Not supported: 3.6V Li-ion, LiFe, LiFePO4

Using incorrect batteries may damage the device.

Charging Safety

• Charge via USB-C
• Do not leave unattended
• Avoid charging damaged or wet devices

ExpressLRS Binding (Full Steps)

1. Turn off transmitter
2. Power cycle receiver 3 times (enter bind mode)
3. Turn on transmitter
4. Open LUA script → Select Bind

Recommended Settings

• Packet Rate: 250Hz
• TX Power: 50mW
• Channels: CH1–CH16
